Security Code Verification

You can verify payments made by credit card upon entering your security code.

What is Security Code Verification?

Your security code is a 3- or 4-digit number located in a different place to your credit card number. It is not printed on your card invoice or similar documents.
As no-one else has access to this security code, cardholders can improve security by using it when purchasing flight tickets online.

  • Security code verification is not available with some credit card companies.
  • Your security code is not your card PIN number.

Security Code: Example Locations

The security code is a 3-digit number on the signature strip on the reverse of the card.
Depending on the credit card company, it may alternatively be a 4-digit number on the front of the card.

How to Use

  • (1)Please enter your security code when paying by credit card via the website or Reservation and Service Center.
(Your confirmation and reservation numbers will be displayed. Please note these down.)
  • (2)If the purchaser is not the person traveling, please notify the passenger(s) of the confirmation and reservation numbers.
  • (3)The passenger enters the confirmation and reservation numbers at an ANA self-service check-in machine at the airport and carries out boarding procedures.
  • When paying without entering a security code, the credit card holder must bring the credit card to the airport to carry out boarding procedures.

Confirmation Number

  • Your confirmation number acts as a verification code when changing your reservation, obtaining flight tickets, or requesting a refund, so please keep it safe.
  • IBEX Airlines will be unable to provide you with your confirmation number if you have forgotten it.
  • For online reservations, the confirmation number will be shown only once. Please ensure that you note it down.
