The applicable fares and fees are the amounts valid on the purchase date. Therefore, fare adjustments (refund/extra charge) will not be made even if the fare or fee amounts of your flight change after the purchase.
- If you change the boarding date of a ticket with a fare where the reservation can be changed, you will be required to pay/refund any fare difference incurred.
If the fare and fee amounts change after reservation and before the payment deadline, the fare and fee amounts on the purchase date may differ from on the reservation date.
The fare basis date
The reference date on which the fare for the ticket is determined called the “fare basis date”. The “fare basis date” means the date on which the ticket is purchased. The fare basis date differs for each flight.
Specific Examples
1. If the fare amount changes
- 1) Prior to purchasing a flight ticket

- 1)After reserving IBEX45 for boarding a flight on December 1st for JPY 10,000 on October 1st, price falls to JPY 8,000 on October 2nd. If you purchase your ticket on October 3rd:
- JPY8,000 is the purchase price because the fare and fee amounts at the time of purchasing the ticket applies.
- Please check your purchase price again in order to find the difference from the price on the reservation date.

- 2)After reserving IBEX45 for boarding a flight on December 1st for JPY 10,000 on October 1st, price raises to JPY 12,000 on October 2nd. If you purchase your ticket on October 3rd:

- Please check your purchase price again in order to find the difference from the price on the reservation date.
- 2) After purchasing a flight ticket

2. Cases in which boarding date is changed from a peak season to a regular season after purchasing the ticket.

If you change the boarding date of a ticket with a fare where the reservation can be changed, the fare and fee amounts on the date the ticket is purchased (fare basis date) will apply as the fare set for the boarding date after the change.
- 1)After purchasing an One Way Fare for boarding a flight on August 1st (peak season) for JPY40,000 on June 1st, the boarding date is changed to September 1st (regular season) on July 1st. (Set fares as of June 1st : Peak season JPY40,000, Regular season JPY37,000)
- The cost difference (JPY3,000) will be refunded because the fare effective for the changed boarding date (September 1st) on the ticket purchase date (June 1st) is JPY37,000.
3. If you pay for your ticket at a convenience store

If you issue an application ticket or waiting ticket at a multimedia terminal installed at a convenience store and take it to the cash register, the fare displayed on the terminal screen will apply.
4. Adding a return flight after purchasing a one way ticket

- 1)After purchasing a One Way Fare for boarding a flight on December 1st on October 1st, a return flight to be boarded on December 3rd is added on November 1st and the fare is changed to a Round Trip Fare.
- The fare basis date is set for each flight, therefore the fare basis date of the return flight that is added is November 1st. The fare basis date for a one way ticket remains unchanged at October 1st.
